I just finished uploading photos to a Christmas album. Some of the pictures are from Christmas Day, 5-13, so will probably be of little interest to anyone here. Sorry, had to have a place to put them all.

Pictures of Ashley's Christmas Doll and the items that boardmembers donated start at #14. I included a picture of Ash as well. I saw her only briefly on Christmas Day at church. She was very, very sick. She had been sick all night, but insisted on coming to church. She had her pajamas on under a navy blue dress. Her Daddy held her during the service. At that point, she had opened the doll. She told me, "I love the doll you got me," and that took just about all her energy. I told her, "Daddy did that, not me." John said she hadn't touched anything else, so she just had no idea what was in store back at home.

I was then out of town for a week, and last Sunday, their family was not at church. I will see them tonight. I'm taking my camera so I hope she'll have her doll with her. I'll give an update with what she says. She will spend the afternoon with me on January 15, so I will make sure she brings her stuff so we can get a ton of pictures.

Thank you to everyone who sent something for Ashley! I am so overwhelmed by your generosity. Please just know that you did something really special for a really great kid-- and her dad!

PIcture #21 starts the photos of my mom's doll. I made AGoT 23 into Brenda, a historical girl from 1961. When she sat down and saw the box, she said, "Oh, is this a DOLL for me?!" She was joking, of course, at the shape of the box, so she was really surprised when she saw her. She said the dress was really close to the one she wore, and told me a story about that dress. My uncle, who was 2, spilled an orange pop on her at the movies. It ruined that dress. I also took pictures of her Addy, Kaya & Josefina. They're included too.

Enjoy!
Heather
